St. Paul's Programs
Music Program:
provides training for our volunteer choir. The Choir leads
the congregation in music at our 10:30 am service.
Rehearsals are held on Thursday Evenings at 7:00 pm.
Chancel Guild:
decorate the chancel and church every Sunday and for special
occasions.
Altar Guild:
Prepares and maintains all the Altar linens, hangings, and vessels.
They prepare the Altar for worship.
Lay Administrators:
assist the clergy in the distribution of the Eucharist.
Readers:
lead the Prayers of the People and read the Lessons.
Servers:
assist the celebrant during the service, especially at the
Offertory and Ablutions.
Ushers and Greeters:
Ushers provide information and bulletins to those entering the church.
Greeters offer a welcome ministry to all who visit us for worship.
Lay Pastoral Team:
provide pastoral support to all members of our congregation through
our telephone and home visits program.
Education
Sunday School:
A program for infants and children is offered every Sunday from
September to June during our 10:30 am service in our lower
hall.
Adult and Preparatory:
Instruction for Confirmation or reception, Bible Study, and other
programs are offered from time to time.
The Anchor Chain:
The Parish publishes a quarterly magazine, members receive both the
Journal and Diocesan Post, by mail.
Outreach and Community Services:
Outreach Committee:
Our program highlights many local charities during the year. We
have supported TAPS, PEERS, the Mustard Seed, the Upper Room, and
others.
Shoe Box Ministry:
meet to fill shoe boxes with donated food and toilet items for
street kids at risk.
Anglican Charities:
Our parish participates in several Diocesan and National Anglican
appeals and mission outreaches.
Fellowship
Fellowship Hour:
following our 8:30 am and 10:30 am services in our Parish hall.
Volunteers serve tea/coffee, juice, and 'goodies' for all.
Ladies Evening Group:
meet for fun, fellowship and support for our parish.
Men's Followship:
meet for breakfast for mutual support, spiritual growth and
assistance to our parish.
Craft Group:
meet to sew, knit and craft items for our parish bazaar.
Social Events:
The parish sponsors many of these during the year. These are
always well publicized in the leaflet.
